KLM-VA was formed in 2004 by a group of virtual pilots who decided to represent our nations pride “The Royal Dutch Airlines” on the IVAO network. Today we fly on the Vatsim network as well. Although we try to do the flying “as real as it gets, within limits”, our pilots are free to choose their flights and aircraft to be used and still can register their flights as official KLM-VA Flight. Currently we don’t use any additional software for the registration, but make extensive use of the registration of IVAO and Vatsim.
What do we offer:
Fun: every month we offer an online event to our member pilots; great fun to see your colleagues and be able to speak with them through our dedicated company channel. Not to mention the excitement when accomplishing one of our challenging historical and nowadays tours.
Education: learning by doing and using the extensive possibilities of our pilot resources. And if you want more in-depth knowledge: we offer modular education via the KLM-VA Flight Academy.
Community: our pilots meet each other virtually on a daily basis on the network, but also in real life at our real-life events and on their yearly visit to the FS Weekend in the Aviodrome in Lelystad.
